Finding joy in bringing people together, Kendra Plummer is an enthusiast for all aspects of the hospitality industry. By day Kendra works in the hotel industry leading hotel investment deals with her company Elise Capital which she founded in 2019 as an inclusive hotel investment firm. To date the company owns three hotels in the US. On her journey to hotel ownership Kendra discovered her love for wine while working in a boutique hotel hosting wine events for guests. Serving guests from all over the world Kendra quickly recognized how wine has the ability to bring people from all walks of life together.

An avid student, Kendra holds the WSET Level 2 certification. Kendra is a Roots Fund scholar as well as recipient of the McBride Sisters SHE CAN Fund scholarship pursuing a certification in the business of wine. Kendra’s involvement in the wine industry has led her to immersion trips in renowned wine regions such as Lodi, California furthering her understanding of the grape to bottle process. When she isn’t leading a tasting event, you can find her sipping on a glass of a bold Petite Sirah.
